META ADS FOR CLOTHING BRANDS
Your ads aren't broken.
Your funnel is.
We run Meta ads for clothing brands on Shopify, and we fix what the ads land on. Below you'll see real ad accounts, month by month, and how we read them.
Free call. We look at your store and ads live. You keep the plan whether you hire us or not.
RETURN ON AD SPEND, BEFORE AND AFTER
Let's be honest. You've paid someone to run ads before.
You got a report full of words. Your money went out. Nobody could tell you why the sales didn't come back. Now you think ads are a scam, or that your product is the problem.
So don't trust us. Check the ad accounts below. These are real screens with real brand names on them. Look the owners up. Read how we think. Then decide.
We also teach you everything on this page for free, because a brand owner who can read an ad account is the best client there is. Run it yourself if you want. Some of you will want our team to do it, and that's what the call is for.

Numbers are from each brand's Ads Manager, read on Nov 5, 2026, and show what Meta reports, not store sales. Screens are cropped to the account, the date and the totals, so campaign names are hidden. We picked a low month and a strong month after it, and every account has weaker months in between. These are some of our best results, not a promise of what you will make. Your results depend on your product, your offer, your store and your budget.
WHAT'S ACTUALLY WRONG
Six problems we see in almost every ad account.
Most owners blame the ads. The fix is usually somewhere else. Find yours.
"My ads were working, then they just stopped."
What it usually is: tired ads. The same people have seen them too many times, so fewer stop and each sale costs more.
What we do: check frequency on each ad, then test new hooks on the side. We don't touch what's still working.
"I get clicks and add to carts, but no sales."
What it usually is: the ad did its job and the store dropped it. Good clicks with no carts is the page. Carts with no sales is checkout, most often a shipping surprise.
What we do: walk your store on a phone, find the broken step, and send each ad to the product in the ad.
"Every time I raise the budget, it breaks."
What it usually is: too much, too fast. Doubling a budget throws a campaign back into learning.
What we do: raise 20 to 30% every 2 to 3 days, and only once the numbers have held. New ads get tested outside the campaign that's working.
"I test everything and nothing wins."
What it usually is: no system. Too many changes at once, and ads killed after one bad day, so you never learn what won.
What we do: test one thing at a time, in order, and give each ad a fair chance before we call it.
"Meta says one number. Shopify says another."
What it usually is: normal. A gap of 20 to 35% is common because Meta counts sales differently. A much bigger gap can mean broken tracking.
What we do: check the pixel and Conversions API, then judge the business on Shopify.
"Each sale costs more than I make."
What it usually is: the offer, not the ad. A small order can't pay for a click plus shipping.
What we do: fix the offer before we spend. Full Circle's average order on Meta went from $63 to $109 after the store moved to sets and a buy one, get one deal.
HOW WE RUN ADS
Ads are only layers 5 and 6 of 6.
Brands that jump straight to ads burn money. This is the order we build in. If a lower layer is broken, more budget just makes it break faster.
- 1Brand AuditFind what's broken before you spend
- 2WebsiteMake the store easy to buy from
- 3OrganicPost content people love, for free
- 4Offer MathMake a deal worth saying yes to
- 5PMF DiscoveryUse ads to find what people want
- 6ScalePut more money behind what works
Three campaigns. Each one has one job.
Test
Find the product, the hook and the offer that sell. Small budgets, real tests, clean reads.
Scale
Only the top winners move here. Budget climbs slowly while the numbers hold.
Retarget
Win back people who looked and didn't buy. Usually 10 to 20% of the budget, with recent buyers left out.
What we do when we open your account each day
| What the numbers say | What we do |
|---|---|
| One bad day after good days | WAITOne day is noise |
| Spent about 2x your order value, no sale, CTR under 1% | KILLTurn it off, make a new hook |
| Good CTR and clicks, no carts | FIXThe page, not the ad |
| Carts but no sales | FIXCheckout: shipping, trust, payment |
| Results falling while frequency climbs | REFRESHNew creative, the old ones are tired |
| Return above target for 3 to 5 days | KEEPThen scale slowly |
FREE TOOL
Check your ad account in 60 seconds.
Open Ads Manager, set it to the last 7 days, and type in your numbers. This shows where the problem most likely sits. Nothing you type is saved or sent.
These ranges are what we use on clothing brands, as a starting point, not a rule. A small sample can mislead you, and your own account may run differently. The numbers already in the boxes are only an example.

1How Meta picks who sees your ad
Every ad enters an auction. Meta doesn't just pick the highest bid. It also looks at how likely people are to stop, click and buy. An ad people like costs less to show.
That's why good content is the cheapest media there is. Your creative tells Meta who to find.
Free game: test creative, products and offers, not stacks of audiences. Going broad often wins once the pixel has data.
Watch: free Facebook ads course2The 5 numbers that tell you what's wrong
CPM: under $15 is great, over $20 means people scroll past. Link CTR: our better clothing ads sit at 2 to 4%. CPC: 50¢ or less is great, over $1 is expensive. Frequency: past about 2 on a 7-day view, watch for a slide. ROAS: only means something next to your break-even.
Cheap CPM with a costly CPC is a clue: people see it, but nothing gives them a reason to click. That's usually the offer.
Free game: read these per ad, not only per campaign. One bad ad can hide inside a good campaign.
Read: how to read Meta ads3Your break-even ROAS
This is the return where you make $0. Under it, you lose money on every sale. Sell a $100 order that leaves $60 after product and shipping, and your break-even is 100 ÷ 60 = 1.66.
A 2x might be great for one brand and a loss for another. Nobody can tell you if an ad is good until they know this number.
Free game: work this out before you judge a single ad.
4Creative: why raw beats polished
People click what looks like content, not what looks like an ad. Merlins Father's best ad was a creator's phone video with a three-word caption: $280 in, $13,774 back as Meta reports it, 3.42% click rate.
Free game: the first 3 seconds decide it. Shoot one video, then film 5 different openings. Same ad, 5 tests.
Watch: how to make winning ads5Offer first, ads second
A good ad can't save a weak deal. Bundles and sets raise the order size, which gives you more room to pay for each sale.
Spaceboy's "every order today gets a free beanie" ad brought 169 purchases at 4.93x as Meta reports it, without cutting the price again.
Free game: before you give a bigger discount, try a free gift. Then put your deal in the first line of the ad.
6Where you send the click
One brand we audited sent about 80% of its ad traffic to the homepage. Its homepage added to cart at 2.7%. Its product pages did 11 to 13%. Same store, same visitors.
Free game: link each ad to the product in the ad. Then open that link on your phone and try to buy.
Watch: getting traffic but no sales?7Don't touch it for 48 hours
Most accounts are hurt by the person running them. Meta needs time to learn, and one day tells you very little. Killing an ad before it has spent about 2x your order value is guessing, not testing.
Free game: write down your kill rule before you launch, so your mood doesn't make the call.
8Why ROAS falls when you scale
The more you spend, the colder the people you reach. So return usually drops, and that can still be the right move. Time A Tell went from 5.79x to 2.79x while purchases went from 113 to 590, and store sales from $26.7K to $129.9K.
What matters is whether the extra sales leave more profit after ads, not whether the ROAS looks pretty.
Free game: raise budgets 20 to 30% every 2 to 3 days. Never double.
9Retargeting
Most people don't buy the first time. Retargeting shows a reason to come back to people who already looked. It works best when the first ads are bringing in fresh people, and it's usually 10 to 20% of the budget.
Free game: leave out people who bought in the last 30 days, so you don't pay to sell to them twice.
Watch: our retargeting strategy10Tracking: what to believe
The pixel and Conversions API tell Meta who bought. If they're off, Meta learns from bad data. A pixel can fire and still match poorly, so "it's firing" doesn't mean "it's right".
Meta and Shopify rarely agree. A 20 to 35% gap is normal. Shopify is where the money is, so that's the truth you run the business on.
Free game: buy something from your own ad's page, then check the purchase shows up in Events Manager.
Watch: Meta account and pixel setup11Keep your ad account safe
Meta rejects ads and restricts accounts, and no one can promise it never happens. You lower the risk by not using celebrity photos or music you don't have the rights to, not making claims you can't back up, and not sending ads to a broken page.
Free game: check every ad's link before you hit publish. A dead page wastes money and can get the ad rejected.
12Why most clothing brands fail with ads
They skip the order. They run ads to a weak store with a small order size and no list, then blame Meta. The strongest big days we've seen come from a list and a following too, not from ads alone.
Free game: start building your text and email list before your next drop, not on drop day.

WORKING WITH US
What happens when our team takes over your ads.
- Full account auditCampaign structure, pixel and Conversions API, where the money went and what came back, plus your store.
- Offer before spendBundles, price tiers and gifts that raise order value without cheapening your brand.
- Creative testing systemHooks, angles and formats tested in order, so every winner is clear. We tell you what to film.
- Campaign buildTesting, scaling and retargeting campaigns, each with its own job and budget. Your account stays yours.

WHO RUNS THIS
I'm Ray. I show my ad accounts on YouTube.
Me and my team of 45 run growth for clothing and ecom brands. 304+ brands so far, and $1.7M+ a year in ad spend. I put real accounts on camera for free, so go look before you ever book a call.
WE DON'T TAKE EVERYONE
This isn't for every brand. That's on purpose.
A good fit
- You sell clothing or streetwear on Shopify.
- You have products people already buy, even if sales are small.
- You can send us content, or film what we ask for.
- You want the truth about your numbers, even when it's the store and not the ads.
Not a fit
- You want a promised number. No honest team can give you one.
- You won't change a broken store or a weak offer, and just want more traffic.
- You change everything after one bad day.
- You don't have a store yet. Inner Circle is built for that, and our free resources are a good place to start.
QUESTIONS
What people ask us on every call.
Do you only run ads for clothing brands?
Mostly. More than 200 of the 304+ brands we have worked with sell clothing, and our system is built for fashion brands on Shopify.
What do I need to start?
A Shopify store and access to your Meta ad account. Launching a brand from scratch? Inner Circle is built for that.
How fast will I see results?
Testing data comes in during the first one to two weeks, and we decide what to scale from there. Results depend on your product, offer and budget. On the call we tell you what is realistic for your store.
Do you guarantee results?
No. Nobody can promise what Meta or your customers will do. We can promise you will know what we are doing, why, and what the numbers say.
How much ad budget do I need?
It depends on your order size and margin, because each test needs enough spend to give a fair read. We work it out with your real numbers on the call.
Who owns the ad account?
You do. It is your account and your data. We work inside it, so everything we build stays with your brand.
Who makes the ads?
You know your brand and your customers, so the best ads usually start with your content. We tell you what to film, then turn it into ads and test it.
Why do your numbers say "as Meta reports it"?
Because Meta and Shopify count sales differently, and Meta usually counts more. We show Ads Manager screens for the ad results and Shopify for store sales, and we label which is which.
Can you also fix my website and emails?
Yes. Most clients have us run ads, the website, email and SMS together, so every part of the funnel works for the ads.
Does the call cost anything?
No. The strategy call is free, and you keep the plan whether you hire us or not.
